WARRANTY POLICY

At Saikale Jewellery, we take pride in the quality, craftsmanship, and meaning behind every piece we create. We are committed to ensuring your jewellery arrives beautifully made and meets our quality standards.

All Saikale Jewellery pieces are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing faults and workmanship defects. This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

What Our Warranty Covers

Our 12-month warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship, including:

  • Faulty clasps, settings, or closures
  • Structural manufacturing defects
  • Loose stones due to craftsmanship issues
  • Defects present upon delivery
  • Plating defects caused by manufacturing faults

If your piece is determined to have a manufacturing fault, we may offer:

  • a repair,
  • replacement,
  • store credit, or
  • refund,

depending on the nature of the issue and in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

What Our Warranty Does Not Cover

Our warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Tarnishing over time
  • Scratches, dents, or accidental damage
  • Damage caused by improper care or storage
  • Exposure to chemicals, perfumes, water, or harsh environments
  • Lost or stolen items
  • Damage caused by misuse, impact, or unauthorised repairs
  • Chains bent or broken through pulling or force
  • Natural ageing of materials, plating, or finishes

Please note that delicate jewellery should be handled with care to preserve its beauty and longevity.

Jewellery Care

To help maintain your jewellery:

  • Store pieces separately in a soft pouch or jewellery box
  • Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, water, and chemicals
  • Remove jewellery before swimming, showering, exercising, or sleeping
  • Clean gently using a soft dry cloth

Proper care will help preserve the shine, colour, and quality of your jewellery over time.

Warranty Claims

If you believe your jewellery has a manufacturing fault, please contact us within the warranty period with:

  • your order number,
  • proof of purchase,
  • a description of the issue, and
  • clear photographs of the item.

Our team will assess the piece and advise the next steps.

Please note:

  • Customers may be responsible for shipping costs associated with warranty assessments.
  • Repairs or replacements are provided at Saikale Jewellery’s discretion in accordance with applicable consumer laws.
  • Assessment of warranty claims may take several business days depending on the nature of the issue.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
